"Serpens is leaving? Where to?" Franz blinked at them, straightening his coat a bit and scratching the back of his neck. He stared back at Rin for a moment while the question processed in his apparently slow mind. "Will I be hurt? Only if Serpens hurts me. But he's over there and I'm over here, so I don't think he can..."

The demon reached forward and took Serpens, then slowly took a knife and made a long deep cut down his arm. Altering the balance of injuries wasn't that hard, as long as you had the injury yourself. Half the cut slowly disappeared, then began appearing across Serpens' throat. It wouldn't be long before the snake bled to death, or ran out of oxegyn.
