The Forgotten Zodiac

Cancer cocked his head, nodding slowly as Ophile talked. "Well, I guess technically it's only cannibalism if they're the same species as I am. So, it'd just be if I ate Aquarius here. He's to much of a grump to eat anyway, he'd ruin my appitite. On the other hand, I don't like to eat sentient beings. Makes me feel mean. Not to say I haven't done it, just that I prefer not to."

Kazue's eyes narrowed slightly. Maybe he should've stayed with Rin. She only made him feel guilty for not caring, not insult him over it. He wasn't a grump! He was merely... Aquarius. "I was just heading to the kitchen myself," he said. "I can show Darius the way." With that, he started walking towards the aforementioned place. Yule was still standing there, blinking at the talking wolf. "Yes," she said suddenly, "Cannibalism is bad."

Rin smiled comfortingly at Quinn. "You're in the Zodiac Palace of Obelisk, the safest place in the world," she said.

"But it still wouldn't be cannibalism if I ate you, or Ophile. I just have to not eat other Zodiacs." Cancer turned and headed after Aquarius, preparing to eat them out of house and home.

((I have no idea.))

KAzue led the way to the large kitchen. "Okaaay, here we are. Have fun," the Zodiac said, going over to the (would the have a refridgerator?) and starting to rifle through it.

((We COULD move it, but I'm kinda too lazy to. We could always just keep it here. I dunno. I never really thought about it. We could also start a bit of a side-story, with Borealis' point of view and stuff. Dunno if you guys would go for that.

Also, yes. I saw that movie for the first time yesterday. It was cool.

Alsoalso, yes. They do indeed have the fridges. As I said, this is kidna like post-apocalyptic-modern of sorts. Modern medicines, electronics, so on, but no real guns 'cuz Borealis destroyed them all. :T))

"Indeed. But, as Darius said, it's not really cannibalism if I were to eat, say, you. That would actually be considered quite normal, since I am a wolf. Of sorts. But I'm not actually all that hungry right now, I've been quite busy keeping rats from running rampant." Ophile nodded at Yule. "That, and you might give me indigestion. You seem too bony for my tastes. I miss obeseity."

"Oh..." Quinn blinked, standing up with Quint's help. He looked at his twin and murmured, "We can't be here...did you tell them yet?"

"N-no...I forgot to." Quint blinked in return.

"You...forgot? About something like this? I told you we shouldn't be going around looking for help, it's too dangerous!"

"C-calm down, Quinn, we'll figure something out..."

Yule nodded. "Ah, yes," she said, unsure of anything else that could be said to a comment like that.

Rin frowned. "What are you two talking about?" she asked, instantly worried. "What's the matter? Are you in danger?" she asked.

"You're still flustered, I see. Anyone else would probably get upset at me, when I mention I like eating fat people. Then again, perhaps you're just confused as to what obesity is. It has indeed been a very long time." Ophile blinked at her. "You seem more confused than angry, really. I bet I could say anything I like to you, and you wouldn't get it. How about this; you have terrible posture, you're probably a horrible fighter, you're a bad leader, Obelisk City would be ten times better without you here mucking things up."

"Uh, well, um..." Quint bit his lip, putting a hand over Quinn's mouth. "Yes, and no. Yes, we are talking about something, and no, we're not in danger." Quinn looked angry, trying to pull Quint's hand away.

"Everyone's in danger! Everyone! Stop it, Quint, why would you try to hide this?" Quinn pushed Quint away, then realized that Rin was looking at them with worry and concern in her eyes. He stopped, looking down. That worry and concern would probably turn to anger if she knew...

Yule's eyes narrowed. "Come on, really?" she asked, straightening her posture. "I'm suprised that a creature such as yourself would stoop to mockery," she said.

Rin's eyes, and the look in them, remained unchanged, however. "What's wrong, then?" she asked. "Please tell me, you know you can trust me, don't you?" she reminded, thinking that the time they'd been seperated had made the other Zodiacs forget her nature; she genuinely cared for the twins, and wouldn't wish harm on them... or anyone, for that matter.

((What am I supposed to reply to? The only one Cancer is with is Aquarius, who hasn't said anything.))

Ophile laughed, though it sounded more like barking. "I apologize. I surprise myself sometimes. I was just curious as to how you would react. I'm always curious, you see."

Quint sighed and looked at Quinn. He looked down as well, listening as Quinn spoke. "Maybe...maybe we should go to where the other two are...they need to hear it, too..."

Yule relaxed a little. "I see," she said.

Rin nodded. "Alright. We'll go find them, then," he said.

Aquarius looked over at Cancer. "Darius, are you going to eat or not?" he asked, pulling a canister of soup out of the /icebox?/.

((I dunno. I don't feel like Obelisk was made before the apacolypse, so it shouldn't have electricty. Also, that would be fancinating, Bun. You start though. Also, how do you guys feel about a bad Libra? He's not really bad, just... You'd see.))

Cancer glared at Kazue. "Of course I'm going to eat. I was merely observing my surroundings before stuffing my face. It /is/ a safer option."

((Libra? Fun. You're good at being the bad guy. Then again, we kind of all are, aren't we?))

Kazue chuckled softly. "True, true," he said. "Although, if you were worried about being attacked, I would be more troubled by my presence than that of anything else in here," the Zodiac smiled slightly. He was always more at ease with the Zodiacs that, too, had level heads on their shoulders, like himself. And since Rin was always worried out of  her mind, being with Darius was a step or two up, wouldn't you think?

((I am? With who? My only bad guy you've seen is Kyle. Charlotte's not bad, she just loves her big brother. I guess Kyle is bad though...))

Cancer shrugged. "I just showed up, you can't have a bone to pick with me yet. Give it a week, then I'll start worrying about death threats from you."

((It was started before the whole Borealis thing, but finished in a hurry afterwards. There IS electricity, there's two different generators that sit at two different towers; a main and a backup. Just the two, though. If they both go out, well...peanuts and cold soup for everyone. :T

And yes. I love me my bad guys. FINE THEN I'LL FREAKING START IT. :U))

"Indeed. Now then, shall we follow the other two? Rats may be filling, but they aren't very tasty. I don't think I've ever looked in the kitchen, though. Is there pudding here?" Ophile asked, not waiting for an answer before heading the way Kazue and Darius had gone.

"Please, let's," Quinn nodded, taking Quint's hand and turning back to the Palace. "We shouldn't have come here..." He murmured.

"We would have died." Quint frowned.

"I would rather die than have this..."

((Good girl. Starting it is a good thing to do. Also, I'm assuming a giant wolf makes noise, even if he is a ghost thing.))

Cancer paused, halfway through a bowl of soup, pausing as he heard Ophile coming down the hallway. "Is it just me, or is someone following us now?"

"YEs, yes, pudding," Yule answered, hurrying to catch up with the wolf. She had to make sure that the creature wouldn't eat all the food; it was, after all, for the Zodiacs.

Kazue tilted his head towards the door. "Of course. It's the wolf," he said. ((I think KAzue's erm... 'power' (because I can't think of anything else) is that he was super senses! XDD So he's always hyper aware of what's going on. Downside is that he has a lot of weaknesses, bright light, loud noises, pain (hyper touch sensitive) anything else you think of... oh, and he's a picky eater. I may add in a dual power later, a useful one. He is the highest air element...)) Kazue returned to his meal.

Rin followed the two at once, wondering what they could possibly be going on about.

((Okay then. Cancer can form an unbreakable shell around himself and Libra can inflict massive amounts of pain, as long as he's felt that pain before or will later.))

"Oh. Okay then. Ophile's nice enough. Is the boss-lady, Wool, or whatever her name was coming too?"

((Lyre can freeze time for up to five minutes, wherein she's the only one that can move. Unless she selects someone to be able to move with her.))

Yule," Kazue corrected. "Yes, she is. Also, I believe Rin and the twins are looking for us," he said, standing up.

Ophile reached the kitchen first, looking up at the others before attempting to nose open the fridge. "Ah...really, I still question my design sometimes, I would have rather liked to have thumbs." He sighed a bit, sitting back and looking up at Kazue. "Now I have to ask for a favor...all I want is some pudding, see. Miss Yule said there was some in the fridge."
