Kyle said nothing and kept walking, increasingly skeptical about MIchael's thoughts of Sylas. Typically, 'completely harmless' people didn't threaten to hurt him. "Sure, okay then. Waffle iron's over here." Tyler ran after Sylas and grabbed his arm, frowning skeptically. "Sylas, how come you would hurt him? You're nice. I would hurt him by kicking him in the shins. That hurts lots, but it doesn't make them die. I know that, 'cause I kick Michael all the time."

Sylas looked down at Tyler. "I would not kill people. That's terribly messy. I would have broken a bone, though, like I broke Werr's leg." He said, looking up as Kyle handed him the waffle iron. "Thank you. By the way, don't try to go into Michael's room. I put him in a box with Werr so that they might stop arguing soon."

Kyle shrugged and sat down on the counter. "So, is breaking bones considered kind and friendly now? 'Cause I was told you were nice." He said this simply; it wasn't an attack. He just wanted to know. That was a completely different definition of nice from what he was used to. Tyler looked up at Sylas curiously. "B-But you don't like breaking things, Sylas. That makes you sad. You didn't break Werr's leg on purpose. That was an accident."

Sylas blinked at Kyle curiously. "I am nice. I am going to make you waffles." He said, tilting his head to one side. "But I'm also not-nice in that I will break one of your bones if you call people names. Simple enough..." He looked down at Tyler. "Right. That was an accident...because I was trying to break his back, not his leg."

Tyler gasped and hopped backward. "Sylas! You're not supposed to break backs! If you break backs, the person would get hurt worser than if than if you broke their leg." He pulled himself up onto the counter next to Kyle and poked the older boy in the stomach. "Whadya think? Which is worse, a back or a leg?"

Sylas just shrugged, getting out the supplies to make some waffles. He was smiling has he made his preparations, happy to be cooking again. He made the batter without a word, humming a little bit. "Kyle, where might the vanilla extract be?" He asked casually, smiling still as he asked the question.

Kyle sat and didn't answer Tyler. The Iyouis was crazy already. He certainly wouldn't pick a fight with the monster. It might kill him for the fun of it, or shatter all of his bones because he'd annoyed him. "The extract? It's..." He stood up and opened a cupboard before holding the vanilla out to Sylas.

Sylas took the bottle, smiling. "Thank you," He said, returning to his waffles. Crazy, maybe. It was difficult to tell; Sylas had gone from being happy and content, to sad and upset, then to mad and violent. And now he seemed content again, though some of the things he was saying gave off an obvious air of...well, he sounded a little bit like Lotis, save for the 'murder everyone' intent. It was still pretty bad, though...

Michael woke up eventually and rolled off the bed, accidentally hitting Werr in the leg. He looked at the wall with confusion then looked back at the groaning Werr. "Why're the walls coated in black shadows? You don't think Tyler and Sylas were serious, do you?"

Werr looked up at him with pain clear in his eyes. His leg seemed worse in reality; it was bent the wrong way, looking absolutely horrific. "I think they were serious," He growled past gritted teeth. "And I think Sylas is going to be murdered the next time he shows his face to me."

Michael moaned and sat on the lower bed opposite Werr. He dropped his head between his knees and glared at the floor. "I'm pretty sure he could take you, Werr. The real question is, how do we convince them we've 'bonded' without actually having to be friendly with each other."

"H-how about you help me fix my leg? It'll be a start," Werr panted, feeling the break. It was pretty bad, but not unfixable. It would be easier if he ever accepted going to a hospital, but Werr was the kind of person who wouldn't go unless his life itself was hanging by a thread. Mainly because he didn't like waking up in handcuffs.

The Gifted stood up and moved over to Werr's side, looking at his leg cryptically. "What needs to be done? Theoretically, if I pull it straight it'll just de-straighten, immediately. Unless you could form a brace for yourself..."

"I can brace it with stone," Werr said through gritted teeth as he forced himself to slide off the bed. He prepared the split, using a handful of stones that he had in his pocket; he also found a roll of bandages from his bag. He forced his leg as straight out as possible, ready to put the splints in place the second the bone was straightened out again. "I'm ready,"

Michael gripped Werr's ankle and pulled, bracing his grip against Werr's knee. After trying for several seconds, Werr's leg popped straight and the brace clipped on. Michael sat back, panting heavily. Werr's muscles had tensed completely, and they had been pulling the bones tighter on top of each other.

Werr couldn't stop himself from screaming in sheer agony. He breathed heavily, gripping the carpet underneath him and closing his eyes before sitting up. He leaned heavily against the bed, keeping his leg rigid and off the ground. "Thank you," He said, surprisingly. "Now what?"

"Now? We wait. We can't exit the room, so we have to hope that, eventually, Tyler and Sylas remember that we're in here and let us go... Unless." Michael looked up at the ceiling and down at the floor. Neither were fully coated in shadow. "Could we get these open?"

"Possibly," Werr sighed. "They're made from a material I can't move, though. If only Subject was in here...where did that boy go to sleep, anyways?" He looked around suspiciously, frowning a bit.

((Is Subject in here? I don't remember.)) Michael looked around in an attempt to find Subject. "I don't know. I don't even know if he went to sleep. He's been pampered enough, it wouldn't surprise me if he went somewhere else instead. Maybe he went to eat ice cream all night." The heat-controler's mouth twisted into a sneer. He might not hate Werr, but he certainly didn't like Subject.

((I don't either. xDD)) "Feh. Personally, I feel sorry for the kid. Every gifted who finds him would probably hate him, too. His powers are great, but he's been spoiled by the same people that ruined their lives." Werr shook his head, somehow managing to lie back down on the bed. "Who knows where he went, though..." Actually, Subject was in the restroom at the moment. He had fallen asleep next to the toilet after a fit of throwing that involved the direction 'up'. At least he had done it in the toilet...
