"Yeah, it'd be better to tell us next time. You really upset Tyler, you know. He thought you hated him." Michael stood and gestured at the road. "We should probably go back, before we get caught by the television more than we already have. I hate being on TV."

"Yeah," Sylas stood, brushing himself off. "My head still hurts...but I think I'll be okay." "That's good. Let's get back," Aurora nodded. "Off we go." Sylas took Timothy up in his arms. "Yes. I need to tell Tyler that I don't hate him." He ran ahead, already back to his normal self, it seemed.

Timothy slipped out of Sylas' arms and dropped behind the Iyouis so that he could get on his friend's back. "Hey, Sylas. I'm glad you're okay, because I like you. You keep me safe. I like to be safe, Sylas. Thank you for keeping me safe." He straightened his back and rested his chin on Sylas' head.

"Only always! I'll take care of you no matter what, Timothy." Sylas smiled happily. He slid to a stop at the doorway to Kyle's house. "Here we are. Tyler? Tyler!" He called into the house, looking around.

Tyler jumped up from the couch where he'd been sitting next to Werr and ran into the front hallway. He stopped at the end of it and stared at Sylas in surprise. "Sylas? What're you doing here? You said you hated everybody."

I wasn't acting like myself, but that's hardly an excuse..."~"I'll forgive you if you make more soup," Werr called.~Sylas smiled. "Yes, I'll make lots more soup." He looked back at Tyler, waiting for the boy's answer.

Site Owner Posts: 9360 | Sylas crouched, setting Timothy down and holding his arms out to Tyler. "I'll make the best chicken noodle soup you've ever tasted," He smiled happily. Quinn watched, her own face lit up with happiness at the return of their dear friend. ((Yeah. Almost home, though.))

((Indeed, but smartphones can sometimes be stupidphones.)) Sylas smiled happily. "He did do a good job, but...we have to get rid of all the silver in this house, okay? It all needs to be thrown in an empty room and locked up right." He stood, brushing himself off. "That way, I don't get mad again." "That's why you went batty?" Quinn frowned. "Batty? I can be a bat." Sylas blinked, not quite understanding her terminology. "Uh...nevermind. I think I got it." She giggled a bit.

((I would prefer a ditzy smartphone to a mentally broken and shattered phone. Metaphorically speaking, of course.)) "Th-the silver made him mad." Timothy swung Tyler onto his back and started grabbing everything silver insight and tucking it under his arms. On his way up the stairs with a full load, he turned around and grinned at Sylas. "I'm c-carrying Tyler, j-just like y-y-you carry m-me!" He sounded and looked incredibly proud of himself, He always wanted to be more like Sylas.

((Poor phone.)) Sylas smiled. "Don't fall down the stairs," He said, waving a bit. He watched them go, sure to keep his distance. "Do be careful, Timothy," Quinn protested, moving forward to help the poor kid.

Timothy, despite all their worries, made it up the stairs just fine. He stumbled into the nearest upstairs bedroom and dumped all the materials onto the bed before turning around and running back to Sylas. "Wh-what else is b-b-bad, Sylas?"

Sylas was going through the silverware, picking out which ones had silver traces. He handed a handful to Tyler. "This is the last of it. If I sense anymore, I'll let you know. Go for it, Super Tyler." He grinned, clearly back to his old self again.

Tyler grinned and directed Timothy up the stairs. "We're flying to the rescue!" When they returned back down the stairs, Tyler hopped off Timothy's back and ran up to Quinn. "Who needs to be rescued? Werr needed to be rescued, but nobody knew it." The boy spun and looked up at Sylas curiously. "Do you know who hurt Werr? He was an Iyouis, but he was mean like Lotus."

"An Iyoui?" Sylas blinked. "I don't know. What happened to Werr?" "He had holes put in him. Lots of holes." Quinn sighed. "It took a lot out of me to keep him alive..." "I thank you for that, Quinn," Werr grumbled. "Look here," Aurora held out her arm. It was still black and purple and swollen badly. "The same thing happened to Werr, but on a wider scale." Sylas took her arm into his hands, feeling it. He stared for a long moment, then took three steps back and slid under the table. "That's the Whisper's work..." He muttered. "That's bad. Very bad. Badbadbad." "Whisper?" Aurora frowned. "Daddy."

Timothy slid under the table toward Sylas, wrapping arms around Sylas's knees. "Sylas? Who's your daddy? I had a daddy, but he wasn't nice. Then James made me go with him, and that was scary, and I was running away, and then you rescued me." He grinned at Sylas and lifted his eyebrows, looking absolutely ridiculous.

Sylas blinked at Tyler, then nodded. He pulled himself out, sighing and brushing himself off. "I'm going to get started on the soup," He announced, moving to the kitchen. "I want to know more," Aurora said, moving after him. "I...I'll tell you later," Sylas said, taking Tyler by the hand. He looked down at the boy, then back up at Aurora. "Okay..." She nodded, catching the drift. It wasn't a subject for children to hear, then.
