The Forgotten Zodiac

Tyler kept running, looking back at Israel, until he ran into a tree. "Ouch!" He fell over and didn't get up, though it was more because he was drama-queening everything than because he was hurt.

Israel darted over to his side. "Tyler, are you alright?" he asked, looking over him worriedly.

Tyler nodded and pulled himself up, with only scraped knees to show that he had fallen over. "I'm okay. Let's run some more!" With that he bolted off toward the castle again, moving as fast as his little legs could take him.

Israel kept up with the boy easily, but did not overtake him so that Tyler would 'win' the race to the castle. Though, the raven thought, it wouldn't look good for a Beorc and a Raven to charge the Hawk King's front door down...

((That sounds awesome. The storming, I mean.))

Tyler reached the gate and stopped. "OPEN UP, GUARD PEOPLE!" He shouted, kicking the wall repeatedly. Patience was not one of his virtues.

((Oh, good grief.))

The gaurds came out, looking slightly alarmed. ONe hoisted Tyler up by his feet. "Oi! What are you doing here?"

((By the way, you were a terrible Maid of Honor at my wedding. Both of my weddings the Maid of Honor didn't show up. I must be cursed.))

Kyle reached the gate and laughed dryly, hearing the guard's question. "Isn't that one of the great mysteries of life? Why are we here? What are we supposed to do? Is there any real purpose, or is life just random chance?"

Tyler glared at him immediately. "Be quiet, Kyle. You aren't smart enough to talk right now." He looked up at the guard and smiled as adorably as he could. "I'm here with my friends. We want to go inside your castle. Castles are fun."

((I was the Maid of Honor? I regret not knowing anything about that.))

The guard blinked, but as the other two Hawks came up, along with the Herons, he moved aside. "Alright..." he said.

((This was before you were on frequently. Trin was the best woman. She thinks it's weird. I regret not having you there.))

 Tyler wiggled his toes and poked the guard in the stomach, though not hard. "'Scuse me? Mr. Guard, sir? Can you put me down?" He squirmed and wiggled his toes, trying to find a way to get free without dropping himself on his head.

((I regret not being there.))

The guard paused, seeming to be unsure of whether he should to as the boy requested, but Israel held out his arms and the guard placed Tyler in them. "There we are," ISrael said, smiling.

Tyler grinned and turned himself around. The guard had been holding him upside-down after all. "Hi Israel." He pointed at the gate and puffed out his cheeks. "Can we go inside now? I'm tired of waiting."

"Yeah, of course, just a second," he said, waiting as Kai and Isabella entered the castle first, then followed them.

Timothy, of course, entered with Kai. He eyed the guards nervously, then he grabbed Kai's hand. "This i-is scary, K-Kai." He didn't like guards or castles. Especially not castles. He'd been in one far to recently.

Tyler gently patted the back of Israel's head, rubbing his cheek against Israel's. "I like castles, Israel."

"It's alright," Kai replied, in the Ancient Toungue. "The Hawks are kind."

Israel smiled. "That's good, Tyler. We're probably going to be here a while."

Tyler's eyes lit up and he grinned widely. "That's fun! How come though? What if we want to leave?" The thought seemed ridiculous to him, but he decided to ask simply to know what the answer would be. If they weren't allowed to leave, he would be less happy with the castle.

Timothy nodded and stared nervously at Kyle. The teen met his gaze with a sardonic sneer, and Timothy immediately turned back to Kai. "Y-You're sure?" He whimpered in the same language.

"Then we leave," Israel answered. "Simple as that."

Kai nodded. "I am completely sure."

Tyler brightened up and nodded. "Okay. As long as we can leave when it's boring." He wrinkled his nose, then looked up at Israel and grinned. "I don't like boring. Do you like boring?"

Once Kai reassured him, Timothy calmed down somewhat; but he was still quite edgy of the guards. Heaven forbid they came to a downward stairway.

"No, I don't," Israel said.

But luckily, all the stair ways went up. Soon, they were in front of the throne room.

Tyler nodded again and began leaning back away from Israel's arm and then back in again. He was at least careful this time, however; so he didn't hurt Israel's shoulder. "What do you do when it's boring?" The young human was completely oblivious to anything going on around them; he hadn't noticed that they were in the throne room until Israel stopped walking. Once Israel had, he turned and looked around at everything with interest. He didn't remember being in any other throne rooms.

Tibarn stood, eyeing the group that enetered. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
