The Forgotten Zodiac

Tyler looked at Tibarn and puffed out his cheeks, then blew the air out and waved. "Hi! I'm Tyler. I like this castle. Is it your castle?" He stopped as another question came to him, and he turned to Israel. "How come he has a castle and I don't? I want a castle!" He wasn't whining, at least in tone, a definite improvement from before.

Tibarn nodded. "Yes, this is my castle," he said. He paused as Israel answered. "You can have my castle, Tyler," he said. Tibarn then stood. He glanced at the Herons, then to the guards. "What are they doing here?" he asked, indicating Kai and Isabella.

Tyler held his breath while considering the pros and cons to Israel's offer, then nodded. "Okay. I'll share it with you. It can be my castle, and you can live in it with me. That way I won't have to be lonely."

Isabella looked from the guards and then back to Tibarn. "We recently escaped Beignon. This was where we ended up." She shrugged, not really sure what she was supposed to tell him. That was what had happened.

Tibarn stood. "You were in Begnion? How did you get out?"

((He was already standing. He stood when Israel gave Tyler Israel's castle.))

Isabella looked to Israel and Tyler, then turned back to Tibarn. "Israel came with some Beorc and rescued myself and Kai." She gestured to Israel and then Kai respectively as she spoke to idicate who she meant. "I think they lit the place on fire, so we would be less likely to be followed."

Tibarn quirked an eyebrow. "Really? Interesting. Please, make yourselves at home," he offered.

As Isabella nodded, Kyle drew Tibarn's attention to him rather obviously by rolling his head and lurching forward, attempting to pull himself out of the guard's grip. His younger sister might have been intelligent enough to know not to push any buttons, but Kyle tended to take his pride first and almost everything else second.

Tibarn didn't even glance at Kyle. "Put the others in a cell downstairs," he said, indicating Kyle without looking at him. The guard nodded and moved off, pulling the beorc boy with him.

Tyler turned and stuck his tongue out at Kyle. "Bye-bye, you big stupid." He didn't really understand that Kyle was going off to jail, but it was easy enough to understand that Kyle was in trouble, and Tyler liked anybody who didn't like Kyle. "Thank you, Mr. King. He's annoying."

Tibarn smiled slightly at the young beorc. "Mr. King. Don't believe I've heard that one before,' He commented.

Tyler shrugged. "My mommy says I'm supposed to be respectful to adults." He looked up and grinned, clearly mischeviously. "Mosta the time I am, except to the adult I don't like. But I don't like them 'cause they're stupid. You are a king, right?"

"Yes, I am a King," he answered.

Tyler laughed and grinned at Tibarn, then looked over at the others. "How come you guys aren't talkin'? He's a nice king. I don't think he'll bite you." Tyler looked at the ceiling and giggled nearly hysterically, before squirming out of Israel's arms to just stand next to him.

His words didn't seem to have any affect on most of the others. Charlotte was being as still as she could because she knew her resemblance to Kyle could get her in trouble. Timothy was hiding behind/next to Kai, eyeing every guard in the room with terror.

"They must be tired," Tibarn answered for the others. "Guards! Show them where they may bunk," he said. The guards approached the group.

Timothy's eyes widened and the tips of his hair darkened slightly, but he pulled against Kai and managed to calm down. "Th-They still won't hurt me, right?" He whimpered, glancing nervously from side to side.

"They won't. You're with us," he said.

Timothy nodded slowly, but he didn't look much calmer. As long as they didn't try to separate him from the group or force physical contact, he would be fine; but, if they tried one of those things, James would resurface. Kyle's close proximity didn't help.

Tyler grabbed Israel's hand and bounced forward, following the guards. "C'mon, everybody! We're off to go to sleep. Or have pillow fights."

"I think we need to sleep first," Israel laughed softly. "Flying takes a lot out of you, you know. Escpecially when you have to carry other people."

Tyler sighed, but nodded. "Okay. Can we have pillow fights in the morning?" He looked around and grinned at everyone. "Pillow fights are fun. Only sometimes you fall down and get hurt."

Israel nodded. "In the morning," he agreed,
