The Forgotten Zodiac

"Okay. Where are we going once we get there? What part of the island, I mean." Isabella glanced back over her shoulder, nervously wondering if someone would come after Kyle and Charlotte.

"Wherever it is that Israel wanted to go," Kai answered.

"Oh... Okay then." She glanced over at him, not content with his answer. "Where's that? We can't just wander around the island. I think."

"I don't know," Kai answered.

"Alrighty then. As long as he knows where he's going. Someone needs to."

ISrael looked around. "Alright, how do you land this thing?" he asked Charlotte.

Charlotte slid forward again, saying something to the dragon again. He then began flying downward and she clutched his neck to avoid falling off.

Isabella glided downward with the dragon.

Kai followed behind them, still carrying Timmy.

The dragon reached the ground, shortly followed by Isabella. Tyler climbed off and would have fallen if Isabella hadn't caught him. Charlotte held still until the dragon was still on the ground, then turned to Israel. "Can you get me down, please? I don't want to fall."

ISrael nodded. "Of course," he said, helping her down. He then pulled Kyle off and sat him on his feet.

Kyle glared at Israel, jaw clenched and clearly wanting to say something arrogant and rude.

"Thank you." Charlotte then poked her brother in the stomach, annoyed at his continual stupidity. "Stop it. He's much nicer than you, you know."

"Come on, then," Israel said, pushing Kyle in front of him as he walked into the woods.

((Kai gunna land?))

Kyle glared at his sister and allowed Israel to push him forward, though he purposely walked as slowly as he could to slow him down and, hopefully, annoy Israel.

Tyler ran ahead, running in circles around Kyle and Israel and Charlotte quietly walked behind the others, next to Isabella.

((Oh, I thought he did...))

Kai had touched down by Isa and sat Timmy down gently. "Don't worry," he murmured softly. "Bad man cannot hurt you. ISrael protect," he assured in his rough Modern Tongue.

((Nope. He was flying in circles. Poor Kai.))

Timothy nodded, but stayed back next to Kai, not wanting to go anywhere near Kyle unless he had to. "He m-m-makes J-James worse. He m-makes him l-l-lots w-worse." He whimpered.

Kai patted Timmy's shoulder. "I sing to make James sleep," he said. "Israel and I, we protect you."

Timothy nodded again and grabbed Kai's arm, immensly and strangely reassured by the hand on his shoulder. "I'm s-s-sorry he h-hurt Tyl-ler." He whispered.

Timothy shook his head and pulled himself closer to Kai. "He's t-t-too c-close. I can't g-go over th-th-there. Don't m-make me g-g-go over th-there."
