"It's okay. You can say sorry later," he said. "When Tyler's not near Kyle."

"Th-thank you." Timothy smiled up at Kai, hugely relieved as he had been terrified that Kai would have made him go apologize to Tyler immediately. "I'm g-g-glad he's okay. I d-didn't mean i-i-it."

Kai smiled at him warmly. "I know you didn't," he cajoled.

((Should hawk guards come swoop down upon them at some point? Also, you have to play them. Well... I'll play some, if you want me to, but you should play most of them. The ones in charge, at least.))

 Tyler ran up to Israel and grabbed his hand. "Are you still grumpy, Israel?" He asked, staring up at the questioned with the full power of an adorable child.

 Tyler ran up to Israel and grabbed his hand. "Are you still grumpy, Israel?" He asked, staring up at the questioned with the full power of an adorable child. "Please don't be grumpy. You're not very fun when you're grumpy, you're just a grumpygrump grump. So are you done?"

Israel smiled, looking down at Tyler. "Yeah, I suppose I'm better now," he said.

((Poor, brain dead Hannah. It can't be healthy for you to be brain dead this often. I almost wrote something last night. You wouldn't like it though. It'd be an FF fanfiction, if I write anything.))

He grinned and grabbed Israel's hand. "Good. I'm glad you aren't grumpy. I don't like it when people are grumpy. That's why I don't like your uncle who's not really your uncle. He's never not grumpy, and that's why no one likes him."

((I'd read it. It wouldn't make sense, but I'd read it.))

"That's... not true," Israel cautioned to say.

((You make me feel so good about myself. It's like when I try to read most of your FE stuff.))

"Really?" Tyler stared up at Israel, fancinated curiousity in his eyes. "When wasn't he grumpy? Did he /smile/? What was it like? Does he have a nice smile, or is it just kind of weird, or what? I didn't know he /could/ be happy, ever, at all."

"He's happy when Leanne is with him. She makes him happy," he said. Israel frowned. "But she hasn't visited for some time, now..."

Tyler nodded sagely. "He's probably in love with her, and she just thought he was nice, and then he tried to make her marry him, and she said no and ran away and never wants to go back 'cause now she knows he's mean. He shouldn't be mean so much. Then someone might love him."

"Her magic is strong, though," he said. "Well, she was a Heron. ANd she could see what was on the inside of him. She wouldn't have stayed that long if she didn't like my uncle," he said.

"And?" Tyler puffed out his cheeks, annoyed that Israel was disagreeing with him. "Maybe she was trying to be nice and make him better, and then he was super bad so she gave up on him and left and never came back, because he's a jerk."

"Herons don't do that," Israel stated firmly.

Tyler's eyes narrowed, annoyed that Israel was disagreeing with him. "Then what was Kai doing? He was trying to make Michael better. It didn't work, you know. He didn't get better."

"But he didn't just give up, did he?"

"He might have if Michael had done something very, very, very mean, like you uncle does." Tyler let go of Israel's hand and glared at Kyle, for lack of someone else to glare at. "I know I'm right, Israel."

"Good. It's good to know things," ISrael said.

Tyler nodded. "Yes, it is, and because I know this, I'm sure I'm right. You should just listen to me all the time. You'd be so much happier."

Israel smiled. "Yes, I suppose so."
