The boy smiled and shook his head again. "I won't need anything." He stepped forward placing a hand on Scorpio's chest and pushing several years worth of pain into Sylas' body.

Sylas had a very hard time not opening his mouth all the way to scream. He jerked, the chains rattling. This was worse than the electricity. This was worse than the whip. "Stop, stop, make it stop!" He wailed pathetically, not even having the energy to cry anymore.

Libra pulled his hand away and grinned. "I love being able to do that. I would continue, but I can't afford to completely deplete my stores. Besides, now that you're here, I have all the time in the world."

Sylas went limp again, hanging there like a rag doll. "T-traitors..." He managed to whisper, closing his eyes exhaustedy.

"Had enough fun for now? And you're right, Libra, you can come down here any time you'd like. Though, I'd be careful. The door is alive and it doesn't like anyone but me touching it." Borealis chuckled a bit.

"If it's alive, I can do this to it. I don't think it would mess with me more than once." Libra glared at Sylas. "Why don't you stop talking, Scorpy? The humans were a mistake, and if I recall, I called for their immediate elimination. I owe them nothing."

"I'm fairly certain it can't feel pain. It's a door." Borealis snorted. "Things need nerves to feel pain, don't they?"

Sylas didn't respond this time, not wanting to suffer through more 'playtime'. He just kept his eyes shut, willing himself to unconsciousness again. Pain shot through his arm a moment later, though; the shackle had sprouted tiny teeth, which were digging into his wrist.

"Oops. Sorry." Borealis just smirked a bit, pushing open the door so the others could leave.

Lyre gave a small wave to Sylas as she exited. "Don't worry, I'll be back to play again later. Borealis and Libra won't even miss me," she said.

Sylas didn't answer again, tears leaking from his closed eyes. Why, Lyre? That boy had to be the Libra she was referring to...two Zodiac traitors. It was heartbreaking for him. The thought alone was worse than any torture imaginable, and they had even tortured him. And for what? Balance and Order? As if that would ever come to pass with Borealis...they didn't understand that, but by the time they did...it would be too late, wouldn't it?

Sylas hung there in agony, his new wounds throbbing and his shackle gnawing on his wrist. He didn't even know if any of the others were still alive...or if they were, he didn't know how many of them had turned. Things were looking very, very hopless right about now. Sylas made no attempts to stop his tears. What had happened to make these two so foolish? And what had he done to make them want to torture him so?

"If it's alive, I can hurt it. It clearly has feelings, if it can like you and not me, therefore it can feel some sort of pain, whether emotional or physical. Both are on option." Libra turned around and followed Lyre out of the room.

"What if that's just instinct?" Borealis chuckled, following them out and shutting the door behind him. It locked at once, leaving Sylas to his crying and pain. "I am its creator, after all, it would be natural for it to dislike anyone other than the one who made it. But I suppose it doesn't matter much right now. Who wants to see where Gemini is right about now?"

"Gemini?" Libra raised an eyebrow. "Didn't they escape from you awhile ago? I thought that was the point, they had escaped and now were gone."

Lyre smiled. "So there is some intelligence in that mind of yours, is there, Borey?" she asked. "I for one, would love to find the twins again. They were always so cute... and disgustingly annoying," she said.

Libra shrugged. "The twins are the twins. Twins are annoying by nature, it just means they're true to themselves, which according to some people is a great thing. Not to all, but some people love being true to themselves."

"Of course." Borealis gave them both a wry smile. "Of course they would have to go somewhere to find help, we'll find them and remove any hope they have left. I love destroying hope. It's so easy." He chuckled. "At any rate, no, that wasn't the point. Those fools wouldn't have been able to escape on their owns if they had tried everything. I let them escape. I planted a tracker bug in little Quinn's chest, just behind his heart. Tricky operation, but if he had died, I would have just used Sylas, so it didn't matter much."

Lyre smiled. "I like the way you think, Borealis," she said. "Thing will be very easy now, eh?" she asked.

"Did you now?" Libra shrugged. "Oh well. Either way it made you look incompetent. Glad to know you did it on purpose." He jobbed slightly for a second, catching up to the other two. "Where are we going?"

"Back to the throne room. Ivory will bring us the radar, we need to finish our tea." Borealis answered, walking up the stairs. "Appearances can be decieving, you see. Just because it looked incompetent of me doesn't mean I am."

Libra shrugged. "Yes, well. You see incompetent, unintelligent and annoying in other things as well."

Lyre nodded. "I understand, Borey," she said. "Credit where it's due. For someone known to think up bad idea after bad idea, that was a pretty well made plan."

Libra snorted. "Pretty well made? More like completely obvious. That's the oldest trick in the book, the only original thing is putting it behind his heart."
