Libra frowned, trying to remember. "Hawaii? I don't remember making that either. Maybe it just showed up. I mean, the humans' explanation is possible. Unlikely, but possible."

"Well, at least some of the humans had some amount of intelligence. Go to a place the Zodiacs are unaware of, have at least some shelter. I did find them, though. That wasn't the difficult part. Do you now how hard it is to try to get undead humans to stand on a boat without walking off the edge? I do wonder if any of those boats even made it." Borealis said thoughtfully.

Ivory, at this point, finally returned with what looked like a small laptop. "Forgive me for taking so long. You seemed to have hidden it between your bed cushions." She said, handing it over to Borealis with a slight bow.

"Indeed. I didn't want to tempt myself with looking early. Forgive me, I failed to mention it's location...but, you did find it, indeed you did..." Borealis murmured, pushing the tea tray off he table, making Ivory have to grab it before it fell. The mentally-disturbed Zodiac placed the laptop on the table and opened it up, pushing the power button before sitting back again to watch it start up. Human technology was rather crude, in his opinion. Why should he have to wait for something to load?

Libra glared at the computer, annoyed that it didn't load instantly, then turned his head back to Borealis. "I thought the citadel was being destroyed? If it's being destroyed, and you don't know if the destroying force got there, how are you to know that it's being destroyed? Guessing is a very unreliable system, you know."

Libra has a point," Lyre said, playing with her thumbs as she waited for the laptop to load. "Really, Borey, how can you just assume such things that are so vital to the sucess of our mission?" she questioned.

Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Thomas was a doubter, Moses stuttered, Elijah was depressed, Abraham was old, and Lazarus was dead.

"I'll send dragons later. And it's not that vital, it's perhaps a scattered thousand humans left among the billions that are dead. What could they possibly do?" Borealis rolled his eyes as the computer started up at last. Ivory opened a command line and tapped in several lines of keys. A moment later, a map of sorts showed up, a little blinking red light showing up after a second of calculating.

"There you have it. Say hello to Quinn for me, hm?" Borealis smiled, throwing back the last of his tea.

"They could find and shelter the other Zodiacs, who when reunited might prove a problem. Keeping them scattered is to our advantage, and therefore any large group of humans is a threat. I'm surprised I'm the one thinking of this. Aren't you supposed to be the paranoid one?"

"But of course. You're completely right, Libra. Thank you for your input." Borealis said pointedly, frowning a bit. "If you're so concerned about the Zodiacs being reunited, go and kill the Geminis. Or capture them. Whichever you prefer. If they're with other Zodiacs, wonderful. Murder or capture them, too. If humans are involved, even more wonderful. Destroy them all. Done and done."

Lyre stood. "At once, Borey," she said with a slight eyeroll. "Libra, come on. Let's just go see what kind of trouble we can stir up for the others."

Libra sighed and stood up. "I'll meet you at the front door as soon as I have shoes. You should think of our excuse though. We're clean, always a tip off to being powerful, and right now, the powerful ones are the ones they won't trust."

"I could beat you up a little bit, if you think that would help." Borealis smirked, leaning back in his couch-throne. "Nothing like a few wounds to convince another to drop their guard..."

Libra raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "I'm sorry, but no. Despite the fact that it would probably make your week, I'll think of something else." With that he strode out of the room, off to get shoes and find Isabella, whose job, as he saw it, was to come with him on these little adventures and ensure that nothing nasty happened to him.

Lyre headed for the door. "Alright, I'm sure I can do something. We'll figure it out on the way, won't we, Libra?" she asked, heading out.

By now Libra was gone, though by the time she reached the outside, he was there waiting for her with a girl, visibly about the same age as him, not that that told you anything. The girl stood up from the wall she had been leaning against as Lyre came out. "Saggitarius, I presume?"

Borealis snorted, running his fingers through his hair and checking a few of his pocket-watches. "Whatever you say. Ivory, do prepare for dinner. I'd like a pork roast tonight, with those delectable potatoes you make as a side. Go ahead and open a bottle of Monet for tonight, as well. We might as well enjoy our few moments of peace without Libra around."

"As you wish," Ivory bowed, then moved off to prepare the requested meal.

Lyre nodded and smiled. "That's me, all right," she said. "And you are?" she questioned.

The girl smiled back. "I'm Isabella, companion to Libra. Basically, my job is to shoot people who get in his way. My other job is to stay near enough that he can pull youth from my body when necessary, otherwise he ages, which seems to bother him."

Lyre nodded. "OF course, it bothers us. Zodiacs normally don't age," she said.

Isabella grinned at Libra, in such a way that meant she was about to divulge information that was going to bother him. "Actually, /he/ does. Something about stealing my boyfriend's body messed up his immortalness, so now he lives forever but ages just fine."

Libra glared at her and began walking, pretending he hadn't heard anything she said.

Lyre laughed slightly. "That must really mess with him," she said. "He probably feels all imbalanced or something of the sort. That's also probably why he keeps you around. For balance," she said, looking to Libra to see if she were right.

"Yes, it does imbalance me, which is unacceptable. Of course, she's not invaluable. I can pull it from anyone, I just like to pretend I'm a nice person and leave non-immortals alone. Also, you and I both know he wasn't your boyfriend. He might have been in love with you, but you weren't dating." Libra crossed his arms, but stopped trying to walk ahead, as he assumed it wouldn't work.
