Isabella nodded. "I know. You still insist on considering killing people prime recreation. It's rather disturbing."

Lyre ignored their conversatin, wanting to advance as quickly as possible.

Isabella turned to Lyre. "So which group are you? Do you have a sick fascination with hurting, maiming, torturing, or killing people? Or are you actually a nice person?"

Libra glared at her. "You can be a nice person and still enjoy those things occasionally."

Lyre paused to think about it. "I'm not sure," she said. "I just think that the humans deserve destruction, for all the Chaos they've allowed into the world," she said. She frowned slightly. "I am not of the opinion that we should have locked Chaos in the box, not Borealis," she said. "Then the world would be perfect."

The Chaos she was speaking of, of course, was Aquarius.

Isabella frowned slightly, taken aback. "I wasn't aware you could lock chaos in a box. It's an intangible thing, you can't stop it from happening, merely control and regulate it's happening."

Libra frowned and shook his head. "You won't believe me when I tell you this, Lyre, but chaos is completely and utterly necessary. Without chaos, with just order, there is no balance. Admittedly, I've only achieved true balance once before. That was before the humans, though."

"You're right," she said. "I don't believe you," she flipped her hair over her shoulder. "But it still doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forwards to finding Kazue and taking him to Borey."

Isabella frowned, getting more confused by the moment. "Who is Kazue, and how did we get from the necessity or not necessity or chaos to him? Of course, I do believe that some level is chaos is necessary, but that comes with being a Libran before Borealis. That and being stuck with him for the past however long it's been."

"Well, of course. I do hope you realize, however, that if you tried to put Aquarius in a Pandoricus, I would have to stop you. It would completely destroy the balance I'm working on achieving."

Isabella went from confused to annoyed. "Why isn't anyone telling me what's going on? I'm the only one who knows where we're going, you know."

"Kazue is Aquarius, and Aquarius is Chaos," she said. "I am Order. Therefore, Kazue and I have a sort of... bitter distaste for one another," Lyre frowned deeply. "He claims that he has always liked me. But I've always hated him," she said.

SAGE SAYS:

Isabella frowned. "Well, considering his being Chaos, he might have been lying. The Ancient Egyptians, back when it was Egypt, believed that he was a giant snake that Ra imprisoned in the under world. I wonder if in some strange way, they thought you were Ra..." Now that she understood, she seemed totally fine with the discussion of locking someone in eternal torture.

"Humans and their odd beliefs," Lyre smiled. "If only it were as simple as casting someone into the underworld..."

"Well, I think he had to lock someone else in there with it, to keep it from escaping, which it eventually did anyway. I don't know what it did then, except for balancing out Ra." She pulled out the map and began going back over it. "We should be entering the valley soon. Ish. THis isn't the best map I've ever had."

Lyre looked over at the map. "Oh, that isn't very good," she said.

Isabella shrugged. "Considering the map-maker would have considered this to be a post-apocolyptic world, it's one of the best around. Not many traveling map-makers anymore. All humans are either with Borealis' army or hiding in various places."

Lyre nodded. "That's true," she said. She looked around. "So, the canyon, huh?"

Isabella nodded. "The canyon. And, it looks like this is... Yep." She nodded as the reached the top of a hill to see the ground spliting out beneath them. "We're there."

Lyre looked over the egde. "This is a nice looking place, if you overlook the vermin hiding down here," she said.

Libra nodded and began climbing down. "Shall we hurry? I'm rather bored of walking, especially since this is /supposed/ to end with me getting to hurt people."

Lyre nodded. "I'm right behind you," she said.
