((Not wanting to break the symmetry of the other categories, I've put our roleplay here. Yepyep. This post is Tasumi's: )) "Seriously?" called a male voice, filled with disbelief and shock. "I know we can get her out of there!" The voice, which now had a dead serious and irritated tone to it, belonged to the young man who was standing in the corner of the room. His piercing solid black eyes shifted around the room, giving each person eye contact for a moment. "I just need some help!" He continued, reaching up and tugging frustratedly at his hair, which was pure white and messily stuck out in every direction. He frowned, sighed loudly, and gruffly slammed his back into the corner he stood in front of, glaring at the group's leader who had just motioned for him to be silent. He knew he'd been speaking out of place, but this was the only place he knew he had the possibility of finding someone to help his resuce his sister. ((Hope it's good enough! ^_^"))

((And this post is mine: )) ((Good enough for me. I'll play the leader as a side character, my main will have to wait a bit. Haha.))
"Silence yourself. There's no way of contacting the surface, how are we going to help your sister if we can't tell them what jail she's located in, or anything of the sort? This meeting is about how we're going to reestablish contact with the surface. If you had anything helpful to add, do speak up now. If not, I suggest keeping your mouth closed." The speaker was an older man with slicked back blond hair, green eyes and grimy glasses. He was dressed in black pants and comfortable-looking boots, and a dark green shirt that was covered partially by a thick black coat. Things got chilly down here often. This was Mister Telle, the leader of the main headquarters of New Atlantis. He looked back at the others and spoke quietly for a few minutes, too quiet for the man in the corner to discern what was being said.
"Now then, on the subject of your sister," Telle looked back at the white-headed man. "If you can find someone to go with you, you'll be allowed to leave. We'll even give you clean clothes so you can blend in better. But come Sunday, in two days' time, we've decided to seal off the entrance until we can somehow establish contact with the surface groups and ensure that they're all doing well enough. If you think you can get back by then, feel free to go. I, however, strongly suggest that you remain here. Mainly because I don't think you can make it back by then, and when you don't, then you will be locked out. The security of New Atlantis is more important than your life, I'm afraid. It may sound harsh, but that's the way it is." He stated bluntly, then began talking with the rest of the group again, the man in the corner of no more concern to him at the moment.

((Her post: )) Rynyn watched Telle through narrowed eyes. No one in the room seemed concerned enough to take a trip with him to the surface, break into the high security jails, get his sister, and get back by Sunday. He let out a heavy sigh and straightened up a little. This was a waste of time. He glanced around the room again before heading towards the exit. He looked around the room one more time, but everyone seemed to be paying their attention to Telle. He scowled and left, slamming the door loudly behind him.

Someone was outside, pacing back and forth, looking somewhat worried. He had frazzled red hair that was messily pulled back in a single ponytail, he wore thick glasses over sharp amber eyes, and had a slightly crooked nose. He was of slight build, though he was pretty short and young; he looked barely 15, to be precise. He looked somewhat underfed, to add to that, though a lot of people around here looked like that. His thick black boots were a bit too big for him, and clattered against the ground as he walked. His pants bagged around his leg, and even his coat looked too big for him. He was also wearing a black tie for no apparent reason. He was pacing in the small space in front of the door to the meeting room, apparently looking for something, a theory that was supported by his mumblings. "I can't find it..." He murmured, looking at the ground nervously. "Where'd it go? Who took it? Who would take it? It's mine, people should know better..." He spoke to himself quietly, not even noticing Rynyn.

Rynyn looked at the boy, the scowl still deeply etched into his face. He walked quickly past the teen, anxiouis to get away and think of somewhere else he could go to get help. If worst came to worst he could go by himself, but that would really be the worst thing. He would barely be able to get anywhere on his own.

The boy stopped at watched Rynyn go; before the man rounded the corner, he ran forward and promptly kicked the man in the back of the knee. "You took it, didn't you?! You took it, and now you're trying to just leave? Give it back, you jerk!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. There were a few passerby, all of whom immediately switched courses and left. They all knew who the boy was, of course; he was one of the worst Broken around. He called himself Subject, quite simply, and for no apparent reason. Though rumor had it, he was one of the first to have a bad reaction to the Euphoria.

Rynyn heard Subject's footsteps and turned around before he got kicked. Not flinching in the slightest, as if he hadn't felt the kick, Rynyn glared at the boy. "Givewhatback?" He grunted quickly, feriociously angry that his time was being wasted. "I have somewhere to be, so go bug someone else." He said, turning and leaving again, walking much faster than he had been before.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Subject followed, stomping along behind Rynyn like a toddler throwing a fit. "You took it, you're not going anywhere until you give it back, or I'll get my guns and I'll shoot you so much that everyone else will mistake you for swiss cheese!" He said all this as though shouting and screaming it would magically make 'it' come back. "Give it back, give it back, give it back!" Yes, Subject was definitely having quite the episode currently.

Rynyn completely ignored the brat behind him. He had more important things to do. When it came down to it, it might not be the worst thing for him to be killed. Myst would have no hope and she'd follow him to wherever they'd end up after death. He sighed and shook his head, pushing the aforementioned thoughts away. That wouldn't help anything. He sighed loudly and came to a stop when the bratty kid wouldn't shut up. "I DON'T HAVE IT, SO GO AWAY!!" He roared maliciously, having lost his temper. Normally he'd be much more calm, but he was too stressed out about his sister to care about anything else.

Subject, to say the least, did not react well to being yelled at. He fell silent for several minutes, his eye twitching. There was an eerie silence for a long moment, then he spoke again, though much quieter this time. "I'll go away when you give it back, you no good, dirty, rotten thief." Then he took two quick steps forward and swung his foot around full-circle, slamming it into Rynyn's chest with all the strength he had in his body, which was a very surprising amount, considering his age.

Still glaring angrily at Subject, Rynyn took a couple steps back. He was still hit by Subject's foot. A soft crunching noise came from under Subjects foot, but Rynyn's face remained unchanged. He didn't feel a thing, except the force in the kick which made him take a couple steps back. "GIVE WHAT BACK?" He yelled, not quite as loud as before. He kept glaring, enraged by the young teen's behavior.

Subject frowned at this. "Don't play dumb! You liar! You took my sanity!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, reaching into his baggy sleeve and pulling out a small, sleek, black gun. "I saw you before, earlier today, but I've never seen you before. And I know everyone around here, which means you must have been hiding from me before! Which means, you must be the guy who goes around and steals the sanity from people. And you took mine, too! People call me 'broken' because of you! I'm not broken, I'm not, but you stole my sanity, so people think that I am! It's all a very clever ruse, but the jig is up. Now, give it back!"

Rynyn sighed and put up his hands. "Alright, alright, you caught me. I took your sanity." He glanced around the area and sighed. "I took it, and look over there." He pointed down the street, at the building he had left when he first saw Subject. "It's in there. The man with the green shirt,a black coat and blonde hair that looks really shiny. He took it from me." Rynyn sighed loudly. "It's back there."

Subject blinked slowly at Rynyn, lowering the gun cautiously. Before Rynyn could say another word, though, he took off down the street, looking furious. He entered the building for exactly three seconds before gunfire sounded off, and then he was back out of the building. Only this time, he was tackled to the ground by a couple of guards, who wrenched the gun out of his hand, and then proceed to tie him up very securely. The two men left him next to the door of the building, tied and gagged. They went back inside; apparently no one had been shot, otherwise more people would have left the building to go for help. Subject struggled feebly for several minutes before giving up and just sitting there, a blank look on his face.

Rynyn started to leave when he heard the gunshot. He turned around again and watched Subject be tackled and tied up. With a smirk on his face, he started laughing. Too caught up at the sight of Subject being tied up, Rynyn didn't take into consideration that Telle might not have been shot, but that was okay. He had assumed that Telle getting shot was what happened anyway. Still laughing, though the laugh's volume was going through a decrescendo, Rynyn turned and started walking away, resuming his mission to find someone to help him rescue his sister.

Subject sat still, though he was twitching every now and then. The reason for his twitching would be the knife in his back pocket that he was trying to open so he could cut through the ropes. After several long seconds of struggling for it, he finally got a grip on it and easily sliced through the ropes. They had done this tackle-and-tie thing before. Three times now, to be presice. They never learned. Subject cut through the rest of the ropes and pulled the gag out of his mouth. He then went after Rynyn, following at a distance, though he had put away the knife again. He had more guns back at where he lived, he'd get them later. For now, he wanted to see where the sanity-stealer was going.

Rynyn kept walking away, not knowing anything of Subject's escape and freakish stalking. He eventually came to a small building and went inside. Inside the small, few roomed house, oll of Rynyn's possesions were lying on the ground. He sighed and looked around as he stepped inside, shutting the door tightly behind him. He started gathering his things, a few long sections of rope and wire, small amounts of "food," a coat similar to Telle's, and other little trinkets. once he'd gathered his stuff, he placed it all in the coat he planned to use to carry his stuff. He went into the next room and started to do the same to his sister's things.

Subject watched quietly from the windows, wondering if he could get in without alerting the man to his presence. Might as well not. He watched silently, ducking under the window ledge whenever Rynyn passed by the window he was watching through. Subject wondered distantly if he should go pack his things too, though he had no idea where Rynyn was planning to go or why. He just knew that he wanted to tag along, really.

Rynyn was soon packed and he looked around, sweeping over the room once more, mentally going over the short checklist in his head. He sighed and headed back towards the door. He felt he'd run out of places to look for help. Shaking his head to himself as he stepped outside again, he thought over his plan. Get his sister out or die trying. If he succeeded, great! And if he failed, Rynyn and Myst would both die together, which didn't seem to be a huge problem to him anyway. The one problem he hadn't taken into serious consideration was the entrance back being closed on Sunday. If by some miracle he managed to save his sister, the chances of them getting back here in time were rather slim. He kept his eyes on the ground in front of him as he left his empty home, so he wouldn't have seen Subject unless he were to stand in front of him.

Subject silently followed along behind, his eyes locked on the back of Rynyn's head. His curiosity finally drove him to say something. Fetching for a reaction, Subject said as loudly as possible (though he wasn't shouting or screaming like before), "Where are you going? Are you leaving?"
