The Forgotten Zodiac

((I decided that Myst's going to DIfferent place.))

Rynyn scowled a bit more as Subject told the lady more information than he would have liked. "And we're running out of time, so We need to be going now." He said loudly, looking down at Subject. 

The woman frowned, but was quiet for a while. "Can I come and help?" She asked after a short moment of thought.

((... : D))

"You want to come?" Subject looked surprised, but instantly happy again. "Cool! Rynyn, she wants to help us, probably. Unless she's a spy for the gove-er-ment," Subject seemed to have trouble pronouncing the word. "Then we definitely don't want her to come." He looked up at the other woman. "What's your name? Shirly? Is your name Shirly or Catherine? Or Katey? Harriet?" He spun on one foot, then stopped and looked up at the woman again. "You look like a Shirly."

Rynyn scowled at the woman. She'd already threatened to call the police, why would she offer to help now, unless she was going to call them after they'd gotten far from the evidence that she owned the illigal water bottles. He shook his head and glared at the lady as Subject questioned her about her name. 

The woman laughed. "You aren't too good with names, are you?" She asked, quickly quieting her laughter. "My name's Laurie, but you know, I don't think I heard your names." She still seemed so very friendly towards her unexpected guests.

"No, I'm not," Subject shrugged. "This is Rynyn, and I'm Subject. Although, I've been told that it's a weird name. It's my name anyways, though," He boasted happily, then frowned. "But, I don't know why I keep it. The people at the different place called me that. Plus a number. Four-three-six. That's my last name, I guess. Four-three-six." He smiled again. "Nice to meet you, Laurie!"

((Thirteen.))

Laurie smiled at Subject, while Rynyn looked like he might explode if Subject didn't shut up soon. "So, Wyrmhurst, right? We might wanna bring some food with us on the rest of the trip there and back." She turned and stared digging through some cabinets in the kitchen, looking to find stuff to put food into. 

((Bwahaha, you observant little kitty, you. I thought for sure you wouldn't pick up on that.))

"Food! Really? We can take your food?" Subject beamed. He looked up at Rynyn, and immediately stopped upon seeing his friend's expression. "What's wrong, Rynyn?" He asked quietly so the woman couldn't hear whilst looking for food.

((*puuuurrrrrrrs* I so good. Thirteen is my favorite number, so yeah. :D))

"I don't trust her, Subject, THAT'S what's wrong!" He growled loudly, though Laurie didn't seem to notice. He glared up at the lady packing food and water. "Why would she suddenly want to help us, Subject?" He asked, still almost glaring as he looked down at the boy. He shook his head and grunted angrily. "Hurry up, Laurie, we have to go!" He then turned to leave the house. 

((Unlucky numbah thirteen. xD It's a bit of a misfit, 'cuz he was reaeeaaaalllyy lucky to get out of Tolos.))

"Well..." Subject frowned. "Maybe she has a friend in Wyrmhurst, too!" He moved after Rynyn. "She's not a silent person, and she keeps illegal water, so she's obviously someone like us, isn't she?"

((Thirteen. :D))

Rynyn sighed loudly as Laurie hurried to finish packing and follow them. "Why did she threaten to call the police at all?" He growled, looking over his shoulder as Laurie shut the door as they exited the house.

"Maybe she was scared? We're strange people who broke into her house," Subject pointed out, before spinning on heel and walking backwards to get a good look at Laurie. "Why did you try to call the cops?" He asked, though while smiling.

Lauris smiled back. "What else was I supposed to do with two strange men in my house?" She responded. "I was hoping it would just scare you two off." She said, shrugging and walking faster for a moment to walk beside Subject. 

"We're not easily scared," Subject spun, smiling up at Laurie. "Except by snakes. And the dark." He thought about it for a moment, then added, "And also bad people. We met this guy named Veneno. He's friends with snakes, it's the weirdest thing ever." He shivered a bit, lookig unhappy about the thought.

"I can see that." She said, smiling up at Rynyn, who simply grumpily looked the other way. She looked back to Subject and nodded. "Veneno?.. Huh. That's an interesting name." She said quietly. Smiling at the thought, she shook her head. "Snakes are really interesting. I wonder how he's made 'friends' out of them."

"I dunno, but there was one around my legs and it almost bit me, but it got off when Veneno told it to." Subject just shrugged, taking off his glasses for a short moment to wipe them off. He shoved them back on his face, then smiled up at Laurie again. "It was scary, but you're not scary. You seem nice."

((Hehe double post))

Laurie nodded, frowning slightly as he spoke about Veneno. "Well I'm glad it didn't, now." She put her hand on Subject's shoulder and smiled. "I'm glad. I suppose it would be bad if I was scary, huh?"

((What double post?))

"It would be horrible," Subject nodded quickly, blinking at her hand. "What are you doing? You're touching me, obviously. But why?" He asked, making no move to brush her hand off.

((When I was writing my reply, you had two posts that were about ten minutes apart.))

Laurie pulled her hand away at his reaction. "I don't really know... I just did it." She sighed and shuffled her packed foods into both hands intead of just one arm like she had been.

Subject stared at her, but then ran ahead of both her and Rynyn. They were moving out of the city now, following the road. Subject started skipping, smiling brightly.

((Prolly! ))

Rynyn yawned and started walking faster, not wanting to walk beside Laurie, who simply smiled at him and moved her pace faster to keep up with Rynyn. "Subject!" Rynyn barked irritatedly. "Don't get too far ahead of us!"

Subject stopped altogether, turning and blinking at Rynyn and Laurie. "Hurry up, then!" He called, waiting for them to catch up. "Rynyn, are we gonna find a place to sleep soon? I'm kind of tired..."
