Laurie shrieked again as 2-3-3 pinned her down with his boot, now not paying any attention to the little brat who was now glaring irritatedly at 2-3-3. "So you mean you're just that bad at killing people, or you're an exception to your rule?" He asked sarcasically, still gripping his knife, eager to kill someone already.

((Do you want Laruie dead, or not?)) "Oi, don't mock me, boy," 2-3-3 growled at him. "I'm not playing with him, I'm wearing him down!" "Rynyn!" Subject managed to wail before he had to quickly suck in a breath before his mouth and nose was covered by the water. Things were quickly growing desperate.

As Laurie continued her best to struggle, the boy rolled his eyes. "So what do you think I'M doing!!" The boy growled in return, staring angrily at 2-3-3. He gripped his knife a little tighter and before he even knew what he was doing, jumped forward in an attempt to stab the older boy.

2-3-3 growled and jumped back, inavertantly releasing Laurie. "I was a fool for trusting you, I suppose," He growled, darting forward and slicing at the boy, attempting to cut his chest open. Subject splashed out of the water, gasping even though he had only been under for a few seconds. He grabbed his weapon and stumbled to his feet, knowing that if the match didn't end soon, their movements would be slowed by the water, and they would all possibly drown as the room was filled entirely with water. That had happened, once. Subject had been forced to watch that one. "T-thank you..." He puffed, looking up at the other boys. Right, then; they would wait this out until one of the boys had killed the other. Then they could strike. On the other hand, they could strike now and take out the stronger one while he was distracted... The changes in strategy were massive compared to just one on one strategies.

"You're a fool," the boy moved away, easily moving through the water. "End of story." The boy said, rolling his eyes and moving at 2-3-3 with his knife. Laurie stood back behind her friends, gasping as she tried to calm down as the other boys continued to quarel violently. She glanced at Rynyn, who was standing close to Subject, then saw how nearly the entire lower half of his shirt had become red, soaked in the man's blood. "R-Rynyn!" She squeaked, sloshing through the water and pointing shakily at the cut in his skin. He glaned down. "...Crap. Oh well." He grunted, pushing the thought away as he needed to focus more on what to do about getting rid of the other boys before they drowned.

2-3-3 brought his sword up, stabbing at the younger boy with twice the speed of before, his strike filled with anger. He had made the mistake of trusting someone. Any veteran here knew that even those who were their 'partners' were just as untrustworthy as anyone else. Subject waited with baited breath, still unsure of what to do.

The boy grinned and continued to move out of the way of 2-3-3's sword. He continued to taunt 2-3-3 as they fought, intending to tire him out. He couldn't move such a heavy weapon so quickly for too long.

((Feel free to kill him. :T More interesting characters are to come.)) 2-3-3 was wearing down indeed, and quickly. He stabbed forward again, almost desperately. The water had completely slowed down his movements, which cut out the possibility of using his normal strategies of forcing the opponent to a corner, as he usually used his speed to do such things. Subject was testing the weight of his weapon in one hand, drawing cautiously closer as their fighting wore on.

2-3-3 gasped then coughed, blood splattering from his mouth. He stumbled back and fell, swallowed up by the water below him. With that, Subject threw his weapon, aiming for the boy's head. ((We don't have to kill the kid. :T We could keep him, and he could be on my other guy's team.))

The boy heard the water moving as Subject shifted forward to attack. He moved out of the way with ease, then turned a glare on Subject, standing still from his position in the water, eyeing his oppontents both eagerly and hatefully. ((GAh. I meant to say I wouldn't mind his survival.))

((xD Okay.)) Subject spluttered as the water reached his mouth. He started clinging to Rynyr, not sure what to do now. "Cease fighting," The order came from the usual speakers. The water started draining, leaving the subjects sopping wet and shivering a bit. "This experiment is over. Return to the left station to recieve your new numbers. Take what you want from this room, but do remember that unruly behavior outside of this room is punishable by death." One of the doors opened as the last of the water was drained from the room. Subject made a beeline for the door, not even bothering to pick up his weapon again. He sat down on the couch and started wringing his shirt out, grimacing.

The boy, still glaring at Rynyn and Subject as they left the room with Laurie, followed them out and made sure to stay a good distance away from them. Laurie stood beside the couch with Subject, still shaking in fear. Rynyn stood to the side, ignoring everything as best he could. He still felt fine, even though he was still losing a lot of blood from the gash that 2-3-3 had given him.

"Victor, you will now be known as Subject 6-6-5. Laurie, you are now Subject 4-1-9. Rynyn, 1-5-7. Subject 4-3-6, you are now paired with 4-1-9 and 1-5-7. 6-6-5, you will be paired with a veteran with the number 1-9-9. You will all be shown to your cells, but there has been a mix-up; 6-6-5 and 1-9-9 will be temporarily boarding in your room until theirs can be sorted out. Lead the way to your old cell, 4-1-9." "Great..." Subject groaned, climbing to his feet. "Come on then..." He shuffled off, still dripping water. He led the way through a cold metal hallway and to where a scientist was waiting. He punched in a code and the door to the stairs opened. Subject was silent as he marched up the stairs, glancing sideways at Rynyn. "I'm scared..." He murmured, adjusting his glasses again. "They're trying to make us allies with that kid and this...1-9-9..."

Laurie stayed close to Subject and Rynyn followed closebehind her, watching 6-6-5 carefully as they went towards Subject's old cell. 6-6-5 continued to glare at them hostily, though it was beginning to have a smirked look to it. Rynyn looked up at Subject when he heard him speak. "Oh. Well I doubt that it'll work." He mumbled back, again looking over his shoulder at Victor.

"It depends," Subject sighed. "Normally, the veteran should get more respect, as they've been here longer and know how things work. I don't think this kid cares...and I don't want him to slit our throats while we're asleep, either..." He pulled ahead, marching up thirteen flights of stairs before coming to another door. Cameras had tracked their progress, and the door was remotely unlocked as they approached it. They could have stepped into an old haunted house, an entertainment hall for kids on halloween. Only this was more...realistic. Cobwebs trailed along the ceilings, there was a dusty skeleton lying off in a heap to one side, and the doors were wooden and probably creaked badly when opened. The floors were wooden as well, though Subject could see the metal through the cracks. Tall statues of armor, complete with real-looking axes, stood on either side of the stairwell door. Subject moaned. "They changed it...this floor used to have a fuedal-era Japanese style, it was nice..." He shuffled his foot. "We can walk around here, but there's no leaving this floor. It's best to make as many friends as possible on your floor...you'll be spending meal times with them, after all. It's hard to eat when there's someone trying to kill you. Unless they changed that, too..."

Laurie looked extremely tense as they moved into the hallway. She stared at everything as if it was going to jump out and attack her, as everything she could see was rather terrifying to a girl like her. Rynyn looked around rather curiously, assuming that they weren't in any extreme danger here unless psycho kid wanted to freak out and attack them now. 6-6-5 looked around blankly, then focused on seemingly nothing, becoming lost in the mind of a ten year-old boy.

Subject sighed again, scratching the back of his neck. He jumped when a voice came from directly beside him. "Don't worry, they didn't change the meal systems," Subject whipped around to see the speaker; it was an older man, in his twenties or so, his weapon resting against his shoulder. It was a large screwdriver, apparently; the metal pole was thinner than Laurie's bat, and the thing was sharpened at the tip. Instead of a plastic handle, it had leather straps that the man was holding it by. "1-9-9, at your service. Don't call me that, though. Just call me Flint." He grinned, bowing a little. He was definitely odd-looking. He had blue eyes and fair hair, with a thin, muscular frame. His skin was pale, paler than Subject's; of course, Subject had been outside in the sun recently. He wore a suit, complete with dress shoes and a bowler hat, though the hat had been left in his room. "Welcome to the 13th floor. You all new here?" Subject skittered backwards at the sight of him, ducking behind Rynyn at once.

Laurie shrieked and hid behind Subject at 1-1-9's, or Flint's, sudden appearance.

Flint laughed at this. "Energetic kid, aren't you? I was told that one of the new ones was to be my new partner." "It's him," Subject pointed back at 6-6-5. "The rest of us are a team. I'm 4-3-6, this is 4-1-9 and 1-5-7." "Ah, right then. No names?" Flint quirked a brow. "I don't like numbers, they're confusing. I never was good at math," He chuckled a bit, winking at Laurie. He turned his attention back to 6-6-5. "Hey, kid, just thought you 'ought to know...we used to have a third, but during your initiation, there was a small scuffle amongst him and some guards. I tried to stop him, but he somehow got through the door and onto a higher floor. They sort of...tore him up, up there. Just so you know not to do the same thing. I mean, you can if you really want to, but it's terribly boring without someone to chit-chat with. We're the only ones on this floor, you see." "Do we still eat with different floors?" Subject frowned. "Yeah, the cafeteria is connected with the floor directly above and below us. Which is bad, I have no idea what floor fourteen is going to say when they get down here for lunch." He laughed a bit, though he looked quite serious.
