The Forgotten Zodiac

And I use 'Trin' everywhere. .w. It's my real name, after all.))

Trin watched Sage closely, noting that the crystal wasn't budging from its spot. She frowned, then moved forward to help Sage tug on it. With both of them pulling as hard as they could, the piece of the crystal that they were pulling on finally came out, sending them both reeling. When she stood back up, Trin dusted herself off, then shone her laser at the rest of the crystal, causing hundreds of little red dots to go everywhere. She made a sound that sounded like 'pew' and then turned it off.

((Well, I was going to have the crystals be the thing that activate the portals (not like Ether portals, Hannah) that take the characters from their world through a one-way path to ours, ect. But it's activated by blood, so I can either touch it -points at nosebleedy fingers- Or one of you can cut your fingers on the pointy point. o3o

Also, it will take a little while to activate, and a bad guy should come in first. So Bun's house is going to be destroyed somehow and she'll wind up on the news, in which someone very recognizable shows up and acts like a bodyguard and shoos reporters away. o3o Also, I'm going to let you all choose which bad guy gets to be set free first. So that's the Phantom, Obelisk, Lotus, Borealis, or I could make another one because I can do that. Sorry, Tasumi, our roleplay hasn't quite gotten far enough for a bad guy yet, soooo...yep.))

"Pew!" Bun giggled, nudging Trin with an elbow. "It was covered by the tarp when I found it. I left it covered and ran back home and called this meeting and here we are! And Hannah, I've always described them as blue. Dunno what you've been reading." She grinned, nudging the one Trin and Sage had pulled out with her shoe. "It's weird...but pretty, too. Like you, Tasumi!" She grinned.

((Fake real names it is. I will be...Mercy. Because that is also my nickname so I can remember it easily. xD))

Staring at the crystal that had been finally moved, Tasumi smiled and stepped a little further into the group to inspect it closer. After a little bit she looked up at Bun and grinned. "Did you do any research on what they might be or do between now and then?" Tasumi asked Bun, giggling lightly for no real reason. Blushing lightly when Bun compared characteristics of the crystal to some of her characteristics, she put her head down and went quiet again, having nothing else to say. She bit her lip and decided just to listen to everyone else again.

((Tasumi is the best name for me.))

((ha. My name feels pathetic. We have Mercy, Percival, Trin, Tasumi aaaand... Hannah. XD))

When nothing appeared to blow up as the crystal was moved around, Hannah smiled. "This is really nifty," she said. "Do you think it'd explode if I touch it?" she asked, kneeling down without waiting for an answer. It had been a rhetorical question, asked in jest, and she wanted to see what the crystal felt like, too.

((Your secret name can be... Bernadette?))

Sage, who was now mostly holding the weight of the crystal, jerked it away from Hannah. "Yes. What're you doing?! You'll kill us all." Rolling his eyes, he turned back around and shifted the crystal toward her, clearly done being sarcastic. "Of course, it won't. It hasn't killed us yet, at least."

"Can I lick it?" Trin said, flashing her red laser all around the room in wide arches. She then stuck it in her pocket and started obsessively gnawing on one of her fingernails, not that she had many in the first place. A chronic nailbiter for as long as she could remember, she either went around with practically no nail at all or just enough to drown in thick nailpolish; it helped ward off her biting.

((Typing this as I sit here and chew off one of my nails. xD))

"It probably doesn't taste good," Bun giggled, poking the tip of one of the still-embedded crystals. She realized that her hands were all bloody and cleaned them up as best she could using a crumpled up napkin from her back pocket. She double-checked to make sure her nosebleed was gone before removing the tissue and wrapping it in the napkin. She made sure the blood wouldn't seep through before shoving it back in her pocket. She poked and prodded at the crystal, then grinned. "See, guys? Aren't they amazing? As for research, I tried looking it up, but...I got distracted by pictures of bunny rabbits."

Staying silent, Tasumi took a couple steps back from where she was and she looked up again at the others while they did their little investigation by touching the crystal and possibly licking it. Lightly shaking her head, she bit her lip a little and smiled as she watched, amused by her friends' behavior. All of them, not excluding Tasumi, were such strange and silly people. She was glad she got to know them all.

Hannah laughed once under her breath as Sage pulled the crystal away, waiting until he pointed it back towards her before grabbing at it. "Is it heavy, Sage?" she asked, pressing her palms against the cool stone. "You're practically holding it on your own! Or are you just that strong?" she asked, laughing again.

((Hannah, is that a no to Bernadette?))

"Me, that strong?" Sage shook his head, laughing slightly. "It's not that heavy. It looks like it should be, but it's not." He held it up closer to her head. "C'mon, lick it! Lick it!" Referencing the idiots universal to every childhood, he continued. "Give you a dollar!"

Trin, staring around with a face similar to -> .3. , said "Hey, I wanted to lick it first." She glanced around, making sure there were no crevasses or places where enemies could hide. This was usually the point in Skyrim where the enemies jumped out to try and kill at least half of them before they themselves were killed.

((That was a no to Bernadette. XD And I'm thinking I should play skyrim, so I can understand all these references.))

((How sad. Doesn't surprise me, though. No one likes that name.))

((It's okay, Hannah. No one ever dies for me, so Trin confused me for a moment there. ME. xD

Bun swept in at that point, shoving between Hannah and the crystal. She stuck out her tongue and licked the crystal without any hesitation, immediately making a face afterwards. "It tastes like dirt!" She exclaimed, shaking her head. "Not worth it. You owe me for that, Hannah. You'll have to repay me with bacon so I can get this taste out of my mouth. Bacon fixes everything in regards to taste."

Tasumi watched the others, amused, happy, and lightly biting her tongue to keep from saying anything. They were all silly, and she had said so repeatedly in the past. If they forgot such an important detail about themselves, that was their problem, but, of course, in the middle of a group such as this one, it was unlikely any of them would forget it.
"Ew, dirty bacon." Tasumi laughed, shaking her head at the first thing that came to mind at the end of Bun's mini-speech given after lickng the shiny rock.

"I've eaten dirt before, when I was little. Just so I could legitly say that something tasted like dirt," Hannah said, a small smile on her face. "So what do we do now? We've seen and tasted your rock, Bun."

"I'm not sure you should tell people that, though it doesn't surprise me that my friends do things like that." Sage flinched slightly and wiped his hands on his back pocket. "You guys do know this thing isn't clean, right? I mean, one person licking it and all of you licking it are very different things. I'm not touching it again." He wasn't ordinarily squeamish when it came to these things; but, apparently, he wouldn't touch the saliva of people he barely knew.

Trin's eyes widened, then she smiled and wiggled her way forward, coming close to Sage before she struck. "YAAAH!" she cried, tackling him and licking his cheek at once. "For you, with love!" she said, pulling back and wiping her mouth off on her hand.

"Trin...that's gross." Bun said, attempting to sound serious whilst failing to stifle giggles of hysterics. "As for what we're going to do now..." She snorted, unable to stop laughing. "I-I dunno. Isn't it great that we met, though? Maybe..." Another spurt of giggles. "This can be our meeting place. When we say, 'meet me at our place', here is what we mean." She took the crystal from Sage and set it atop the others, pulling the tarp back over the glowing clusters. "Sound good? We should meet more often, too. And the next time we meet, one of us has to bring either swedish fish or York peppermint patties. 'Cuz I like snacks."

Tasumi sighed, absently tugging on her braids with both hands while Sage discussed how nasty it was that the girls were all licking the rock. Agreeing wholeheartedly, she shrugged, smiling as she watched the situation evolve into Trin licking Sage's face. She raised an eyebrow and shook her head, chuckling lightly at the look on Sage's face. "Ew." She stepped back, taking proper precautions to make sure that the same didn't happen to her. Sure, she loved her friends. But not that much. She looked to Bun and watched her move the crystal back and covered them up with the tarp. It was pretty obvious that someone had tampered with the pretty rocks, but surely no one monitored these things.
