The Forgotten Zodiac

Boko was trembling as he backed away, but he suddenly darted foward, directly into the fray. He emerged with the fish-lady, nudging and pulling and doing everything he could to get her away from the fighting. "Come on, you're okay. I'll make sure you're okay. You're not a dragon, they would hurt you in their fight," He assured her, though he wasn't sure if it was quite needed or not. When a stray tail slammed down near them, Boko curled himself around the mermaid and hissed defensively, though he honestly couldn't be too sure who the tail had belonged to.
