((Brain dead right now, will sleep on it, though.))

"Of course," Kendra said, dropping her hold on his hand so that she could go off to do as bidden, and he could go talk to the King. "I find that sort of thing very interesting, anyways. I'll tell you what I find," she added quickly, flashing him a smile.

((Okay.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IF I WANTED TO BRING SYLAS' MOTHER INTO THIS. She wouldn't do much but cause emotional turmoil. owo))

"Okay. Thanks, Kendra." Sylas waved her off, then went to go find L'arc. It took him awhile to locate the king; he was talking to Bird about something or other. "Hey, there you are. We need to talk about when we're leaving..."

((SYLAS HAS A MOM?))

"Yeah, you and everyone else wants to know about that," L'arc said with a short sigh, turning to face his friend. "Soon, okay? I just... need to figure out what to do about Bermuda."

((YES HE HAS A MOM, THEY DID NOT JUST DIE AND ABANDON HIM THERE. THEY ABANDONED HIM THERE AND LEFT AND SO NOW THE STORIES OF SYLAS ARE GOING AROUND AND THE LADY WILL RECOGNIZE HIM BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT MOTHERS DO.))

"Oh? Sorry," Sylas frowned. He hadn't meant to upset his friend at all. "Sure. What are the options?" He asked. He didn't intend to tell L'arc what to do, but he didn't want to leave his friend thinking about it. Just talking about options could help someone decide, after all.

((Hehe, I do that with my friends. "I can't think of what to do!"

"What are the options?"

"Well, I could do this and that and this...oh, but I wanna do this!"

"PROBLEM SOLVED"))

((OH OKAY))

((DOES HE HAVE A DAD ALSO?))

"Well, we could leave now, but Bermuda isn't well enough to travel, so he'd have to stay behind. Which would leave us without his magic, healing, or... knowing for sure that he is safe. If we wait a while and he comes with us, we'd be able to ensure his safety, but everyone keeps telling me we need to leave as soon as possible..." the young king sighed and pushed his hand through his hair, something he always did when stressed or thinking deeply about something.

((YES BUT I THINK MR. DAD DIED OR IS OTHERWISE NOT THERE. UNLESS YOU WANTED TO PLAY DADDY FOR INTERACTION'S SAKE.))

"Mmhmm..." Sylas frowned. "And what are the possibilities for both? I mean, you and I both know, but talking about it helps make it clear..."

((I CAN DO THAT))

"If we leave now, Bermuda stays. We would get closer to eradicating this... threat I have unleashed, which I need to do, but... he's my brother, you know? It feels like... I don't know. My family, or my kingdom?" he grunted, "Maybe this was a bad idea... I'm not experienced enough to be a king."

"Experience comes from action," Sylas pointed out. "You'll never gain experience if you don't do anything. What could possibly happen if we leave Bermuda behind? I mean, what could the outcome be?"

((OKAY YAY

THE PLAN IS AS FOLLOWS; WHEN SYLAS WAS A WEE BABY, HE GREW SERIOUSLY ILL AND THE DOCTORS TOLD MOMMY AND DADDY THAT HE WOULDN'T SURVIVE AT ALL SO THEY WENT ON A WALK THROUGH THE FOREST AND BABY BASICALLY DIED AND SO THEY LEFT BABY CORPSE IN THE FOREST BECAUSE GRIEVED PEOPLE ARE STUPID. ARIES CAME ACROSS HIM AND CARRIED HIM TO AN ANCIENT TREE AND THAT TREE GAVE SYLAS' LIFE BACK BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A BABY AND BOOM, WE HAVE OUR FOREST BOY.

Does that sound good, or is it too stupid?))

((SOUNDS AMAZIN))

"The senators could come after him," L'arc said, "And now that Adahre's gone, they'll just kill him. We're going to head further inland, away from the ocean, it'd be better if he was with us. So we can't leave now."

((YAY))

"Makes sense to me. I'll tell the others." Sylas nodded. "But...we can't delay our trip for too long. You know that." He patted L'arc on the shoulder, then moved to the exit of the tent.

"I know that," L'arc repeated, sounding tired.

Sylas left the king be. Bird followed him, already starting to look a little better. Bershee had gotten him armored leather clothes, which looked quite dashing on his slim frame. He slouched wherever he walked, though, accustomed to the low ceilings of the temple he had lived in since before the start of the war.

Sylas decided that he would find Byrne. He hadn't seen the human in awhile. May as well pay him a visit.

Byrne was currently pitching his lance at a target made by the other humans, practicing with his throwing arm. He had always favored his right arm, but his new left one had more power, so he switched between the two every now and again, trying to get the feel of both to see which he liked better. Of course, if he could use both, it'd serve him all the better, so he was intently focused on his training and didn't hear Sylas' approach.

"Hey Byrne!" Sylas announced himself once he was fairly close, his grin wide. He had to duck as Byrne swung around a little too quickly, swinging the lance with him. "Oi, watch the pointy end," Sylas laughed a bit, grinning. Until he realized that instead of hitting him, Byrne's lance had scraped Bird.

"This armor is quite effective," The Nymph plucked at the torn fabric of his overshirt, smiling slightly. "I should thank the squid lady later."

"Oh, sorry, didn't see you guys there," Byrne said, his face turning slightly red as he rubbed the back of his neck lightly. He rested the tip of his lance on the ground and leaned on the pommel. "But, uh, hi there. What's up?" he asked.

"Nothing much. I just wanted to see how you were holding up." Sylas smiled. "Our trip to the human cities has been delayed, though. We're waiting on Bermuda to get better. No matter, though. You've been practicing! Show me what you can do," He grinned, nodding.

"Oh, I've just been practicing my throw," he said, lifting his lance off the ground and balancing it in his hand lightly. He turned back to the target and pitched the weapon at it again, hitting a few inches from the center. Flexing his right arm, he went and retrieved the javelin, this time to throw it with his left.

"Pretty good." Sylas nodded. "Probably better than I can do, as far as throwing it...I can hit a target, but if there isn't enough force behind it, nothing will happen." He shrugged.

Byrne smiled at Sylas as he came back over, his lance slung over his shoulder. "I've been training with these things for a while. My um, dad showed me how," he said, not entirely sure if Sylas was okay with him bringing up Dysonious like this.

"Oh? That was nice of him," Sylas rubbed the back of his neck, remembering that he had been the one to kill Byrne's father. He felt bad for Byrne, but held no remorse for Dysonius. That dastardly son of a...well...he could burn in hell for all Sylas cared.
